Odjbox (don’t ask me where all those syllables come from) is a producer from the UK who makes music is telling me is considered “swing hop.” Where this sub-genre came from is incredibly unclear to me. What is obvious, however, is the quality of the music. With an upbeat blend of new-school electro and instrumental hip-hop, with just the right touch of old-school horn samples one might describe as swinging.
